We place a strong emphasis on outreach, working to meet the physical and spiritual needs of our community. We partner with local organizations to provide food, clothing, and other resources to those in need. We also share the good news of Jesus through evangelism and community events.

Deep River Baptist Church is a traditional-style Southern Baptist Church. We believe in the values of the Baptist faith and use these guidelines to be a part of a multiple-church system to change the world.

My name is Rev. Tim Strider. It has been an honor and privilege to have been called into God's amazing life-changing ministry. My journey into the ministry began in 1974 at Deep River Baptist Church. I was given the opportunity to attend and graduate from Fruitland Baptist Bible College. It has been such a blessing to have pastored for 40 years at 2 other churches. God's call came upon my ministry again as I was called to pastor Deep River Baptist Church, where it all began. Come grow with us as we seek to honor the Lord Jesus Christ and glorify His Name.
